Prepares and submits insurance company partner filings for GIG Property and Casualty insurance programs to ensure timely approval of rate, rule and form filings by state insurance departments. Functions as a liaison between the carrier, GIG, and state insurance departments to resolve filing issues and communicates filing status. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent insurance industry experience and a minimum five (5) years work experience in a property and casualty insurance company or consulting state filings department required. Advanced knowledge of, and experience with, commercial property and casualty insurance products required, as well as experience with preparing and submitting insurance department rate and form filings and responding to insurance department filing questions. Extensive knowledge of insurance department rules and regulations governing coverage forms, endorsements, rates, rules, and policy declarations in addition to experience using MS Word and Excel, SERFF and filing tracking software required. |
