Operation Safe Arrival Safe Driving Awards

Operation Safe Arrival Safe Driving Awards are given to recognize an emergency service organization’s outstanding driver safety record over a one-year period. As part of its role in Operation Safe Arrival, each award-winning organization entered into a "contract" with VFIS, the sponsor of the campaign. The contract indicated their intent to follow “Five Pledges of Safety,” in which it promised to develop and implement accident prevention procedures and training, evaluate and establish plans for intersection control, review driver records, and monitor and correct any problems.
